Hello 

It's Spring, at least that what my garden's saying and it's hard to disagree with nature. The snow has melted we're once again able to move around freely but wasn't it nice to take time out from rushing around ? I'm certain that many people benefited from the slower pace of life that a real winter brought this year. 

Congratulations to those of you who've become pregnant and given birth in the past few months. Especially where your fertility journey has been difficult or involved assisted conception, your precious dream babies are here, enjoy these precious moments with them you've most certainly earned them. Most of my new clients come from referrals from new mums who've come for preconception support. While cooing over the new baby let your friends and family know how with a little help from your homeopath you've now become a mum. 

Talking of babies, congratulations to Becca my colleague at Glasgow Natural Fertility Clinic who's given birth to a beautiful daughter. While she's on maternity leave Roisin Cooke will take over Becca's nutritional therapy clinics at GNFC.    

In February I completed my training as a Natural Family Planning Teacher with Natural Family Planning Teachers Association it's a fantastic life skill to learn. I'm enthusiastic about passing on my knowledge of this type of family planning to woman and men who want to take responsibility for their own fertility so contact me if you want to learn more about NFP. 

NHS on Natural Family Planning  NHS recognise that NFP, where learnt and used correctly, has 98% effectiveness. While using NFP a woman's reproductive hormones are uninterrupted and fertility is maintained until the woman and her partner plan a pregnancy. The sympto-thermal method is a double check method of NFP using temperature, mucus and cervix indicators to chart your fertility cycle.  NFP is used by women the world over to achieve, space and limit their family size.

Fertility Awareness charting is an aid for any natural fertility practitioner trained in NFP to understand a woman's reproductive cycle  and provide appropriate treatment when required. For many years I've been using fertility awareness as part of my fertility programme. My fertility clients are asked to record their own fertility chart pinpointing the most fertile days to conceive along with recording emotional and physical symptoms throughout their cycle. Together with Foresight preconception programme and homeopathic treatment this forms a holistic invasive and cost effective programme for fertility.
